Onigiri
Onigiri are Japanese rice balls filled with savory ingredients, wrapped in seaweed, and shaped by hand.

Instructions
- Cook the rinsed rice with water in a rice cooker or pot according to package instructions.
- Once cooked, let the rice cool slightly and mix in the salt.
- In a bowl, mix drained tuna with soy sauce and mayonnaise to create the filling.
- Wet your hands with water to prevent sticking, then take a handful of rice and flatten it slightly.
- Place a spoonful of tuna filling in the center of the rice and mold the rice around it to form a ball or triangle.
- Wrap a strip of nori around the onigiri and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
- Repeat the process for the remaining rice and filling to make a total of 5 onigiri.
Prep
- Rinse rice until water runs clear and soak for 30 minutes before cooking.
