Mama’s Fresh Rice Milk
A simple homemade beverage made by blending soaked rice with water and sweetened with sugar and vanilla extract.

Instructions
- Drain the soaked rice and add it to a blender with 1 liter of water.
- Blend the mixture on high speed until the rice is finely ground and the mixture is smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large bowl, discarding the solids.
- Stir in the whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add the cinnamon stick to the mixture and let it infuse for about 30 minutes, then remove it.
- Chill the rice milk in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Prep
- Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
