Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs mixed with grated parmesan cheese.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the breaded chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Place the fried chicken breasts in a baking dish, top each with tomato sauce and slices of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
