Garlic Tofu Fry
A simple stir-fry dish featuring tofu, garlic, and vegetables, cooked in a savory sauce.

| Spring Onion (chopped for garnish) | 2 | Bunch |
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut into cubes.
- Coat the tofu cubes with cornstarch evenly.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add tofu cubes to the pan and fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add sliced onions, red and green bell peppers, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, water, and sugar to make the sauce.
- Pour the sauce into the pan with vegetables and bring to a simmer.
- Add the fried tofu back into the pan and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions before serving.
Prep
- Press tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water.
