Kofta Chili
Kofta Chili combines spiced meatballs with a rich tomato-based chili, simmered with beans and spices for a hearty meal.

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground lamb, half of the chopped onions, half of the minced garlic, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon coriander, 1 teaspoon salt, and 0.5 teaspoon black pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and sauté the remaining onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add the remaining cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, and tomato paste to the skillet. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the browned meatballs back into the skillet along with the kidney beans. Stir gently to combine.
- Cover and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
Prep
- Thaw ground beef and lamb if frozen.
