Schezwan Chicken is a spicy stir-fried dish made with chicken, vegetables, and a flavorful sauce.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chicken pieces with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Fry the marinated chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same wok, add minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced red and green bell peppers and onion to the wok. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  5. Add the schezwan sauce, chicken broth, and sugar to the vegetables. Stir well to combine.
  6. Return the fried chicken to the wok. Toss everything together and cook for another 2 minutes until the chicken is well coated with the sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.

Prep

  • Marinate chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch 15 minutes before cooking.
