Bulgogi

Bulgogi is a Korean dish made by marinating beef in a soy sauce mixture and grilling or stir-frying it with vegetables.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, chopped green onion, grated pear, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat a grill or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is cooked through.
  4. Add the julienned carrot and sliced onion to the beef. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the cooked bulgogi before serving.

Prep

  • Thaw beef if frozen
  • Marinate beef for at least 1 hour
