Galbi

Galbi is a Korean dish made by marinating beef short ribs in a savory-sweet sauce and grilling them to perfection.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, grated pear, chopped green onion, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the beef short ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the ribs from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.
  5. Grill the ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
  6. Transfer the grilled ribs to a serving platter and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
