Jeyuk Bokkeum

Jeyuk Bokkeum is a Korean stir-fried spicy pork dish made with marinated pork and vegetables, cooked over high heat.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger to make the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced pork shoulder to the marinade, mix well to coat, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet over high heat and add the marinated pork. Stir-fry until the pork is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add sliced onion, green onion, julienned carrot, and chopped cabbage to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the dish before serving.

Prep

  • Marinate pork for at least 30 minutes.
