Kimchi Fried Rice

Kimchi fried rice is a quick stir-fried dish using leftover rice, kimchi, and pork, seasoned with soy sauce and sesame oil.

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced pork belly and cook until browned and crispy.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in chopped kimchi and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add cooked rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps with a spatula.
  6. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring to combine all ingredients evenly.
  7. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is heated through.
  8. Top with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
  9. Serve each portion with a fried egg on top.
