Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Stir in cooked rice, half of the tomato sauce, and chopped parsley. Mix well and remove from heat.
  5. Stuff each bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture.
  6. Place stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish. Pour remaining tomato sauce over the peppers.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove foil, sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over the peppers, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with additional chopped parsley before serving.
