Tofu Scramble

Tofu scramble is a quick and easy dish made by crumbling tofu and cooking it with vegetables and spices.

Ingredients

Nutritional Yeast (optional, for flavor)2Tbsp

Black Pepper (freshly ground)0.5Tsp
Cherry Tomatoes (halved)150Grams

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add diced bell pepper and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  5. Add crumbled tofu to the skillet and stir well to combine with vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle turmeric, cumin, salt, and black pepper over the tofu mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  7. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tofu is heated through and spices are well incorporated.
  8. Add chopped spinach and halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until spinach is wilted, about 2 minutes.
  9. If using, stir in nutritional yeast and mix well.
  10. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed, then serve hot.
