Spaghetti With Meat Sauce

Prepare a hearty spaghetti with meat sauce using ground beef, tomatoes, and herbs, simmered to perfection and served over al dente pasta.

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 liters of water to a boil in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until onion is translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Break up any large chunks with a spoon.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  6. Serve the meat sauce over the cooked spaghetti and top with grated parmesan cheese.
