Indian Tacos

Indian Tacos are made by topping fry bread with seasoned ground beef, beans, and fresh vegetables.

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add the drained kidney beans to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Warm the fry bread in the oven or microwave.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the beef and bean mixture on each fry bread.
  7. Top with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, grated cheddar cheese, and a dollop of sour cream.
