Philly Cheese steak casserole

Prepare a Philly cheesesteak casserole with sautéed beef, bell peppers, onions, and melted cheese, baked to perfection.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions, green bell peppers, and mushrooms until softened.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add butter and cook the sliced ribeye steak until browned. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and whole milk until smooth.
  7. In a large baking dish, layer the cooked steak, sautéed vegetables, and cubed baguette.
  8. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the layered ingredients in the baking dish.
  9. Top with sliced provolone cheese.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
