Asparagus in Butter
Simple preparation of asparagus sautéed in butter with garlic and lemon for a flavorful side dish.

Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the trimmed asparagus to the skillet and toss to coat with the butter and garlic.
- Cook the asparagus for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender but still crisp.
- Add the lemon zest and juice to the skillet, and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Toss the asparagus to evenly distribute the lemon and seasoning, then remove from heat.
- Transfer the asparagus to a serving dish and serve immediately.
