Baby Back Ribs

Slow-cooked baby back ribs with a homemade spice rub and barbecue sauce, perfect for grilling or baking.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper to create the spice rub.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
  4. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  7. Remove ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil.
  8. Brush the ribs generously with the barbecue sauce mixture.
  9. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
  10. Grill the ribs for 5 to 10 minutes, basting with more sauce and turning occasionally, until caramelized.
  11. Remove from grill, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Prep

  • Thaw ribs in the refrigerator overnight if frozen.
