Broccoli & Cheese Casserole
Prepare a broccoli and cheese casserole with fresh broccoli, cheddar cheese, and a creamy sauce, baked until golden.

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Steam the broccoli florets for about 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the whole milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Add half of the grated cheddar cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine the steamed broccoli with the cheese sauce. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs over the top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
