Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Creamy garlic mashed potatoes made with boiled potatoes, roasted garlic, butter, and whole milk.

Instructions

  1. Place the peeled and quartered potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt.
  2. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer. Cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. While the potatoes are cooking, roast the garlic cloves in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes until soft.
  4. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the roasted garlic, butter, and warmed whole milk.
  5. Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.
  7. Transfer the mashed potatoes to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley.
