Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- In a large bowl, combine Impossible meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, milk, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 2.5 centimeters in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Transfer the browned meatballs to a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Slice the sub rolls and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 5 minutes.
- Place meatballs and sauce into each toasted sub roll. Top with sliced mozzarella cheese.
- Return the subs to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
- Serve the meatball subs hot.
