Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Impossible meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, milk, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 2.5 centimeters in diameter.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Transfer the browned meatballs to a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Slice the sub rolls and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 5 minutes.
  8. Place meatballs and sauce into each toasted sub roll. Top with sliced mozzarella cheese.
  9. Return the subs to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
  10. Serve the meatball subs hot.
