Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and green bell pepper, sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Add Impossible meat to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens.
  7. Toast hamburger buns if desired, then spoon the mixture onto the buns and serve.
