Grill marinated chicken with homemade barbecue sauce for a flavorful meal.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and honey to create a marinade.
  2. Place chicken thighs in a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken.
  3. Refrigerate the marinated chicken for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  6. Place chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75 degrees Celsius.
  7. Brush barbecue sauce on the chicken during the last few minutes of grilling, turning occasionally to avoid burning.
  8. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Prep

  • Thaw chicken thighs if frozen.
  • Marinate chicken for at least 2 hours or overnight.
