Mashed Potatoes with gravy
Prepare creamy mashed potatoes with a rich gravy using whole milk and chicken broth for a flavorful side dish.

Instructions
- Boil the peeled and quartered potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the softened butter and warmed whole milk.
- Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the finely chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add the all-purpose flour to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, ensuring no lumps form. Simmer until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve the mashed potatoes topped with the prepared gravy.
