Master smash burgers
Smash burgers are prepared by pressing ground beef onto a hot griddle, creating a crispy crust. Served with cheese, pickles, and a special sauce.

Instructions
- Prepare the special sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and finely chopped onion in a bowl. Set aside.
- Divide the ground beef into 10 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
- Preheat the griddle over high heat until very hot.
- Place a beef ball on the griddle and smash it flat with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 2 minutes until the edges are crispy, then flip and place a slice of cheese on top. Cook for another minute.
- While the burgers are cooking, butter the buns and toast them on the griddle until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading special sauce on the bottom bun, adding two patties with cheese, pickles, and topping with the bun.
Prep
- Chill the ground beef in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before cooking to ensure it stays firm when smashing.
