Not Your Mama's Meatloaf

A savory meatloaf using ground beef and pork, seasoned with herbs and spices, baked to perfection and topped with a tangy glaze.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, whole milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, thyme, and oregano.
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard to make the glaze.
  6. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 70 degrees Celsius.
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
