Roasted asparagus with Lemon butter sauc

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
  2. Place the trimmed asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Roast the asparagus in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until tender and slightly browned.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  5. Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Stir in the lemon zest and juice, then remove from heat.
  7. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the roasted asparagus and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
