Steamed Vegetables
A simple preparation of assorted vegetables steamed to retain nutrients and flavor, served as a healthy side dish.

Instructions
- Prepare all vegetables by washing, peeling, and cutting them as described in the ingredient list.
- Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Place a steamer basket over the pot.
- Add the broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots to the steamer basket. Cover and steam for 5 minutes.
- Add the green beans, red bell pepper, and zucchini to the steamer basket. Cover and steam for an additional 5-7 minutes until all vegetables are tender.
- Remove the vegetables from the steamer and place them in a large bowl.
- Drizzle the steamed vegetables with olive oil and lemon juice. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Toss the vegetables gently to coat them evenly with the dressing.
- Serve the steamed vegetables warm as a side dish.
