Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Boil the sweet potatoes in a pot of water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
  3. Mash the sweet potatoes in a large bowl until smooth.
  4. Add melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix until well combined.
  5. Pour the sweet potato mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the pie to cool to room temperature before serving.
