Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Boil the sweet potatoes in a pot of water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
- Mash the sweet potatoes in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the sweet potato mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the pie to cool to room temperature before serving.
