Trio of Sliders

Prepare a trio of sliders with beef, chicken, and vegetarian patties, served on mini buns with assorted toppings.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with 1 minced garlic clove, salt, and pepper. Form into 5 small patties.
  2. In another bowl, mix ground chicken with 1 minced garlic clove, salt, and pepper. Form into 5 small patties.
  3. Mash black beans in a bowl, add breadcrumbs, egg, 1 minced garlic clove, salt, and pepper. Form into 5 small patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook beef patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  5. In the same skillet, cook chicken patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  6. Cook black bean patties in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy.
  7. Assemble sliders by placing a patty on each bun, topping with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise, and ketchup.

Prep

  • Thaw ground beef and chicken in the refrigerator overnight if frozen.
