Veal Parmesan is prepared by breading veal cutlets, frying them, and baking with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Season the veal cutlets with salt and black pepper.
  3. Dredge each cutlet in flour, shaking off excess.
  4. Dip the floured cutlets into the beaten eggs.
  5. Coat the cutlets with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  7. Fry the breaded cutlets until golden brown on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.
  8. Place the fried cutlets in a baking dish.
  9. Pour marinara sauce over the cutlets.
  10. Top with sliced mozzarella cheese.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
