Soft tofu in oriental sauce

Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat sesame oil over medium heat and sauté the ginger and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the soy sauce, chicken broth, and sugar to the saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Gently add the cubed tofu to the saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Season with white pepper and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
