String Bean Chicken is a stir-fried dish with chicken breast, string beans, and a savory sauce, prepared in a wok.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chicken strips with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch slurry. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same wok, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil. Stir-fry garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add string beans to the wok and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the chicken to the wok. Add the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken broth, sugar, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
  6. Pour in the remaining cornstarch slurry and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Drizzle sesame oil over the dish, give it a final stir, and serve hot.

  • Marinate chicken strips 15 minutes before cooking.
