Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and rice vinegar, mixing well.
  5. Add chopped water chestnuts, sliced green onions, grated carrot, and diced red bell pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
  7. Spoon the turkey mixture into lettuce leaves and top with chopped peanuts.
  8. Serve immediately, allowing diners to wrap their own lettuce wraps.

  • Thaw ground turkey in the refrigerator overnight if frozen.
