Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground turkey to the skillet, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and rice vinegar, mixing well.
- Add chopped water chestnuts, sliced green onions, grated carrot, and diced red bell pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Spoon the turkey mixture into lettuce leaves and top with chopped peanuts.
- Serve immediately, allowing diners to wrap their own lettuce wraps.
Prep
- Thaw ground turkey in the refrigerator overnight if frozen.
