Wonton soup

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, and half of the chopped green onions. Mix well to form the wonton filling.
  2. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold to form a triangle, and press to seal. Bring the two corners together and seal with water.
  3. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add minced garlic, remaining soy sauce, white pepper, and salt. Reduce heat and let simmer.
  4. Gently add wontons to the simmering broth. Cook for 5-7 minutes until wontons float and are cooked through.
  5. Add chopped bok choy to the pot and cook for an additional 2 minutes until tender.
  6. Serve the soup hot, garnished with the remaining chopped green onions.
