Kaldereta
Kaldereta is a Filipino stew made with beef, simmered in tomato sauce with potatoes, carrots, and bell peppers.

Instructions
- Heat cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Sauté the onion and garlic until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the beef cubes and cook until browned on all sides.
- Pour in the tomato sauce and beef broth, then add the bay leaves. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Add the potatoes and carrots, and continue to simmer until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the liver spread, green olives, red and green bell peppers. Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove bay leaves before serving.
