Curry Salman burger with caramel onion

Prepare curry salmon burgers with caramelized onions using fresh salmon, spices, and whole milk yogurt.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine chopped salmon, curry powder, yogurt, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a uniform mixture.
  2. Shape the salmon mixture into 5 equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the salmon patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In another pan, heat butter and remaining olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly in a toaster or on a pan.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a salmon patty, caramelized onions, and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
