Beef Kefta in N African spiced tomato sauce
Beef kefta cooked in a North African spiced tomato sauce using ground beef, spices, and tomatoes.

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, half of the chopped onion, half of the minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Shape the beef mixture into small oval-shaped patties, about 5 centimeters long.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the remaining onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, harissa (if using), and water to the skillet. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Gently place the beef kefta into the tomato sauce. Cover and let simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until the kefta are cooked through.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with bread or rice.
