Ginger-Spiced Hummus Toast

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  4. Toast the whole grain bread slices until golden brown.
  5. Spread a generous amount of ginger-spiced hummus on each slice of toasted bread.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and toasted sesame seeds before serving.

Prep

  • Soak chickpeas overnight if using dried chickpeas instead of canned.
