Instructions
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Toast the whole grain bread slices until golden brown.
- Spread a generous amount of ginger-spiced hummus on each slice of toasted bread.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
Prep
- Soak chickpeas overnight if using dried chickpeas instead of canned.
