Gyoza Mantı with Chili Yogurt

Gyoza Mantı with Chili Yogurt combines dumplings filled with seasoned meat and a spicy yogurt sauce, steamed and pan-fried.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place a teaspoon of the beef mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold in half, and press to seal.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil.
  5. Place gyoza in the skillet, flat side down, and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.
  6. Add water to the skillet, cover, and steam for 5 minutes until the water evaporates.
  7. In a small saucepan, melt butter and add chili flakes, stirring until fragrant.
  8. Mix the chili butter with plain yogurt and season with salt.
  9. Serve the gyoza with chili yogurt sauce and garnish with sliced green onions.
