Instructions

  1. Bring water and whole milk to a boil in a large pot.
  2. Gradually whisk in the polenta, reduce heat to low, and cook for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Stir in butter, salt, black pepper, cheddar cheese, and chopped kimchi until well combined.
  4. Spread the polenta mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let it cool completely.
  5. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
  6. Once cooled, cut the polenta into fry-shaped sticks.
  7. Brush the polenta sticks with olive oil and place them on a baking tray.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve hot as a snack or side dish.

  • Chill the polenta mixture for at least 2 hours before cutting into fries.
