Tahini Caesar with Crispy Tofu

Tahini Caesar with crispy tofu features baked tofu and a tahini-based dressing served over fresh greens.

Croutons (store-bought or homemade)100Grams

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes.
  3. Toss the tofu cubes with olive oil, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the tofu on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, water, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  6. In a large salad bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, croutons, and grated parmesan cheese.
  7. Add the baked tofu to the salad.
  8. Drizzle the tahini dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
  9. Serve immediately.

  • Drain and press tofu for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
