Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers, sauté until soft, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Place bratwurst sausages on the preheated grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are evenly browned and cooked through.
  5. Remove sausages from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. Serve bratwurst in bread rolls topped with sautéed onions and bell peppers, and a dollop of whole grain mustard.

  • Thaw bratwurst sausages in the refrigerator overnight if frozen.
