Fleischpflanzerl are Bavarian-style meat patties made by mixing ground meat with breadcrumbs, eggs, and spices, then pan-fried until golden brown.

Instructions

  1. Soak the breadcrumbs in whole milk for 10 minutes until soft.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, soaked breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into 10 equal-sized patties.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the patties in batches for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove patties from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve warm with your choice of sides.
