Ground chicken caprese skillet

A skillet dish combining ground chicken, tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, cooked together for a simple and flavorful meal.

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground chicken to the skillet and cook for 8-10 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula, until fully cooked.
  4. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.
  5. Add halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes until they start to soften.
  6. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the mixture and stir to combine.
  7. Place sliced mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken and tomato mixture. Cover the skillet and let it cook for 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts.
  8. Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
