Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine gluten-free flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to form a pizza base.
  5. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread tomato sauce over the base.
  6. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, bell pepper, and onion.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
