Bruschetta ai Funghi

Bruschetta ai Funghi is prepared by sautéing mushrooms with garlic and herbs, then served on toasted bread with a touch of parmesan.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each side with olive oil.
  3. Toast the baguette slices in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic.
  5. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are tender and golden.
  6. Add thyme leaves, salt, and black pepper to the mushrooms and stir well.
  7. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted.
  8. Spread a small amount of butter on each toasted baguette slice.
  9. Top each slice with the mushroom mixture and garnish with chopped parsley.
  10. Serve immediately while warm.
