Tomato garlic pasta
Prepare a simple tomato garlic pasta using fresh tomatoes, garlic, and herbs for a flavorful meal.

Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chopped tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes break down and form a sauce.
- Season the tomato sauce with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir in the fresh basil.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat with the tomato garlic sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Serve the pasta hot, topped with grated parmesan cheese.
