Baked Ziti
Baked ziti is a pasta dish prepared by layering cooked ziti with a meat sauce and cheese, then baking until bubbly.

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
- Cook the ziti pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until onion is translucent.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the chopped basil.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, half of the meat sauce, and half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat the layers.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with remaining chopped basil before serving.
