Chicken Parmesan

Breaded chicken breasts are fried, topped with marinara sauce and mozzarella, then baked until cheese is melted.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess.
  4. Dip floured chicken in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with grated parmesan cheese.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Place fried chicken in a baking dish, top each with marinara sauce and mozzarella slices.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
