Gnocchi à la vodka
Gnocchi à la vodka is a pasta dish made with potato gnocchi and a creamy vodka tomato sauce, cooked with garlic, onions, and finished with parmesan cheese.

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the vodka and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Add the cooked gnocchi to the sauce and gently toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the gnocchi and stir to combine.
- Garnish with fresh chopped basil before serving.
